The Platform

The accountability layer for regulated drone operations.

VigilAero captures, correlates, preserves, and verifies what happens across your operations, including telemetry, operator actions, safety and cyber events, incidents, evidence, and compliance context, into one defensible record. Here's how it works, end to end.

VigilAero sits above your fleet, mission, and airspace tools. It ingests and correlates what they produce into a verifiable operational record. It does not fly, authorize, or control aircraft, and it doesn't replace flight-planning, UTM, or fleet-management systems; it's the accountability layer they don't provide.

Where VigilAero Sits

A distinct layer in the aviation stack

Most aviation systems are designed primarily to execute or manage the mission, not to produce a unified, defensible account of it. VigilAero occupies the accountability layer between operations and compliance, where evidence, governance, and audit readiness are produced.

The Accountability Lifecycle™

From detection to defensible report

Each recorded mission moves through VigilAero's Accountability Lifecycle™, a structured operating model where each stage produces evidence that carries forward, building an unbroken chain from the first signal to the final audit package.

What your program gains

What matters isn't a feature list. It's what your team can actually do.

Threats Caught Early

Unusual flight data, link drops, or operator actions get flagged before they turn into incidents or violations.

Risk Made Visible

See operational risk across your fleets, sites, and missions as it builds, instead of finding out after something goes wrong.

Policy Applied as You Operate

Your operating rules are applied while work is happening, so written policy becomes everyday practice.

Compliance Mapped Automatically

Relevant detected events and evidence are correlated with configured control mappings, reducing manual tagging.

Incidents Documented as They Happen

When something happens, the platform assembles the record from available operational data and operator actions: what occurred, who responded, and which requirements applied.

Evidence You Can Trust

Evidence is stored so you can show it hasn't been altered, and trace exactly who did what.

Audits Ready On Demand

When an audit, waiver request, or inquiry arrives, the evidence package is ready to share.

Accountability End to End

Each recorded mission can answer what happened, why, and how the rules were met.

In an in-flight emergency, the remote pilot may deviate from Part 107 rules to the extent required, and may be required to report the deviation to the FAA upon request.

A person may not act as remote pilot in command of a small UAS unless they hold a remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating.

Activity → evidence → readiness. Operational activity is linked to specific requirements to support audit preparation. This is not a certification or a guarantee of compliance. VigilAero mappings are operational interpretations designed to support evidence organization and review. They should be evaluated against each operator's approvals, waivers, procedures, and jurisdiction-specific obligations.

Evidence is captured automatically as operational events occur. The platform ingests telemetry, operator actions, and system signals, then structures and preserves the relevant window of activity at the moment of an event, including the response taken and the controls it triggered. The core operational record is assembled as events occur, reducing dependence on manual reconstruction afterward.
VigilAero maps operational activity to aviation and security frameworks. FAA Part 107, FAA Remote ID, and EASA 2019/947 are mapped and working today; ISO 27001 mapping is in progress, and NIST CSF is on the roadmap. Framework coverage means control mapping and evidence collection. It supports your compliance work and does not constitute a regulatory approval.
As events are detected, the platform correlates them with configured control mappings across the applicable frameworks, so each operational record carries its compliance context with it and manual tagging is reduced.
Yes. Evidence package generation is a core, working capability. Packages can include incident details, security events, audit logs, user actions, policy information, compliance mappings, and workflow history, each one hash-verified with a complete chain of custody and a report integrity summary. They're structured for review by auditors, regulators, insurers, and internal governance, and generated through automated workflows rather than manual reconstruction.
VigilAero provides near-real-time monitoring of the signals that matter for accountability: telemetry ingestion events, battery status, link quality, GPS fix status, geofence breaches, suspicious GPS jumps, security events, incidents, and audit activity. Telemetry is brought in through authenticated, custom, and simulator ingestion, so the platform layers onto current operations without requiring changes to flight procedures.
Day-to-day use does not require specialist engineering support. Initial integrations may require coordination with your technical or platform teams, depending on the systems involved.
